Job description

Hospital Infrastructure & Platform Administration

Provision, configure, and manage compute instances, storage, and virtual private networks across cloud platforms.

Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control, and security group policies in accordance with least-privilege principles.

Monitor virtual memory usage, evaluate resource sizing, and implement cost-optimization initiatives.

Support cloud migration, workload balancing, and hybrid integration between data centres and hospital environments.

Manage enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments and administrative consoles.

Install, configure, and maintain physical hardware, operating systems, and hypervisors such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.

Administer Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and network file shares.

Conduct OS patching, firmware upgrades, and software deployments during scheduled maintenance windows.

Backup, Disaster Recovery & Security Compliance

Configure, test, and automate data backup routines across on-premises servers and cloud-native virtual machine workloads.

Validate Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) procedures, including Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).

Coordinate vulnerability management, endpoint protection, firewall rule verification, and audit trail logging.

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Operations

Monitor system health, latency, compute thresholds, and network connectivity using infrastructure monitoring platforms.

Provide Level 2/3 technical escalation support for complex system outages, performance bottlenecks, and service disruptions.

Maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), network topology maps, and infrastructure configuration documentation.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

2–4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems administration and virtualized/cloud infrastructure support.

Core Technical Skills

Proficiency in cloud and on-premises administration and management consoles.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux server environments.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and reverse proxies.

Preferred Certifications

Systems/Networking certifications.

Microsoft Certified: Windows Server.
