Job summary

BR Convenience Store Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Support professional to join our team in Kuching, Malaysia. You will provide hardware, software, and network support and help maintain retail IT systems across outlets.

The ideal candidate has an IT degree, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of Windows, networking, POS/CCTV systems, and retail software. Occasional outlet travel is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, computer science or related field.
• 1–2 years IT support experience in hardware, software and networking.
• Familiar with Windows, networking, basic server knowledge, and POS/CCTV systems.
• Experience with retail systems (POS, accounting software like Auto-count, SQL) is advantageous.
• Able to travel occasionally to outlets with allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain and update systems, applications, and security tools.
• Monitor and support the company's network and internet connectivity.
• Perform routine data backups and help maintain IT inventory records.
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
• Document technical procedures and provide user guidance when necessary.
