Job summary

Apex Pharmacy Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Support professional to help staff with daily technical issues and keep our systems running smoothly. The role covers help desk support, hardware/software maintenance, system monitoring, and contributing to security and upgrade initiatives.

We welcome fresh graduates with a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, and value candidates who communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a practical troubleshooting approach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in system administration or IT support is an advantage; fresh grads welcome.
• Technical knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Troubleshooting with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Monitor IT systems, networks, and servers for uptime and performance.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data security protocols are followed.
• Support rollout and maintenance of software applications across the organisation.
• Document IT issues, solutions, and configurations using ticketing systems.
• Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deactivation.
• Support IT security initiatives and staff training on best practices.
• Collaborate with the IT team on upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and assist with procurement.
