Job summary

MERITAR SUPPLY CHAIN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Helpdesk/Key User to support desktop IT, manage the local IT environment, and act as the bridge to the China HQ system team.

This on-site role in Malaysia requires hands-on hardware, software, and networking skills, plus user training duties for local staff. You will master the local business system as the Key User, deliver end-user training, collect feedback, and prepare clear issue reports for escalation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in IT/Computing preferred.
• Fluent English for daily work; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus; Chinese language is highly preferred for China HQ communication.
• Strong command of Windows OS and Microsoft Office; able to install and configure applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage office PCs, printers, monitors, and IT assets; deploy devices and configure user accounts.
• Respond to and resolve daily IT incidents; fix software issues and network connectivity problems.
• Perform basic network setup and troubleshooting for office LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic switches.
• Coordinate with HQ for server power, status checks, and escalation of issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and stock checks; manage consumables.
