Job summary
Infinity Consulting Technology is seeking a diligent technician to monitor and support our backup solution, ensuring adherence to predefined policies. You will handle backup jobs, perform restores, and resolve failures while responding to customer inquiries via calls or email.
Regular ticketing and reporting are part of the role, with on-site health checks to troubleshoot issues. You will document solutions and publish technical notes, contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Daily monitor and operational support for backup solution per predefined policies.
- Ability to monitor backup jobs and perform restores; troubleshoot and action fixes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor backup solution daily; run and verify backup jobs.
- Troubleshoot failed jobs and initiate corrective actions.
- Handle incoming calls or emails for technical requests or support.
- Log and track issues in ticket management system; identify and resolve failures.
- Prepare daily and monthly backup status reports.
- Document solutions and publish technical documents.
- On-site health checks and troubleshooting of technical issues.

- To perform daily monitor and operational support for backup solution implemented as per pre-defined policies and procedures
- Monitor backup jobs, execute restore jobs, troubleshoot failed job, and initiate corrective action
- Handling incoming calls or email from customer for technical request/support
- Monitor ticket queue, log ticket through our ticket management system for failed job identify and resolve issues
- Prepared daily and monthly backup status report on a regular/periodic basis
- Documentation of solution and publication of technical documents
- On-site perform annual health check or troubleshooting the technical issues
