Job summary

Accenture in Malaysia is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives enabling business transformation and operational excellence. You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee delivery from initiation to closure, and ensure solutions meet objectives, timelines, and budget.

The role requires experience in end-to-end software development or digital transformation, strong communication and stakeholder management, and PM certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management, technology delivery, or related leadership roles.
• End-to-end software development, system implementation or digital transformation projects.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrids.
• Experience managing scope, budgeting, resources, risks and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2/PMI-ACP/Scrum) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure across multiple workstreams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including stakeholders, tech teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Facilitate governance, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Drive risk mitigation and issue resolution with corrective actions.
• Support change management and user adoption for new solutions and processes.
• Ensure delivery aligns with Accenture standards and objectives.
