Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to oversee day-to-day IT project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and standards. You will support the Project Manager with planning, milestones, and task breakdown, while coordinating with Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and business teams for smooth delivery.

The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and communicating risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Coordination / IT Project Coordination.
• Experience in Software Development / IT Projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SDLC, Testing, UAT, and Release Processes.
• Strong Task Tracking, Coordination, Follow-up, Organization, and Time Management skills.
• Good Problem-Solving and Communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Notion, Trello, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, both written and spoken. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day execution of IT Projects, ensuring delivery according to Scope, Timeline, Priority, and Project Standards.
• Assist Project Manager / Senior PM with Project Plans, Timelines, Milestones, and Task Breakdown.
• Coordinate with Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, Business, and Operations Teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track Tasks, Progress, Deadlines, Dependencies, Risks, and Outstanding Issues, and follow up on overdue items.
• Assist with Requirement Gathering, Requirement Changes, and Scope Changes, ensuring clear communication between Business and IT Teams.
• Coordinate Development, Testing, UAT, and Production Release activities.
• Maintain Project Documentation, Task Lists, Meeting Minutes, and Project Status.
• Prepare regular Project Progress Reports / Status Updates and elevate key issues to the Project Manager.
• Support Process Improvement, Automation, Digitalization, and AI initiatives to reduce manual work and errors.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Project Manager / Management.
