Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Johor Bahru seeks a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead software projects from initiation to deployment. You will bridge clients, management, and internal tech teams to ensure timely delivery within scope and high quality standards.

The ideal candidate blends project delivery with a solid understanding of programming, API logic, and software architecture. You will evaluate feasibility, unblock teams, and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Understanding of core programming concepts (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Java) and software design fundamentals.
• 2-3 years of experience managing software development projects end to end.
• Strong planning, risk, issue, dependency, change, and stakeholder management.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills; ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mandarin proficiency to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Work Location: Permas Jaya, Johor Bahru
• 5 working days per week

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across the full development lifecycle.
• Define project scope, goals, milestones, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders; set expectations and track decisions.
• Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, blockers, and next steps.
• Ensure feedback, approvals, and actions are tracked and closed on time.
• Handle scope discussions professionally while protecting outcomes and relationships.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and open communication across teams.
• Support continuous improvement of project processes and templates.
