Novax Solution in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced IT Project Coordinator to lead planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting across multiple software projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

You will coordinate with internal teams and clients, maintain project documentation, manage changes, and support UAT, risk mitigation, and resource allocation. The role offers flexible hours, proximity to MRT, and a startup, collaborative culture with team trips and a pantry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of project management experience in software development.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills to translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Identify delays, risks, and gaps and escalate appropriately.
• Organize project meetings, workshops, and product demonstrations.
• Support client and stakeholder communications with project updates and next steps.

Location: Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur (5-min walk from Cochrane MRT)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 7,500
Work Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM / 10 AM - 7PM (Flexible)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator with strong leadership, initiative, independence, and interpersonal skills. Responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget. Coordinate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders, maintain proper project documentation, manage change requests, and ensure quality assurance, budget control, and resource optimization through strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Description

Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.

Proactively coordinate and follow up with internal teams to ensure tasks and action items are completed within agreed timelines.

Identify potential project delays, risks, or gaps early, and elevate issues appropriately while maintaining clear visibility of project progress, priorities, and outstanding actions.

Coordinate and organize project-related meetings, workshops, product demonstrations, and key project checkpoints.

Support effective and professional communication with clients and stakeholders regarding project updates, next steps, deliverables, and action items.

Prepare, maintain, and manage essential project documentation including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and issue trackers, ensuring all information is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.

Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination, issue tracking, and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• At least Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 2 or 3 years of project management experience in the software development industry.
• Strong analytical and written skills with ability to translate business requirements from end users to technical requirements.
• Strong skills in budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder communication.
• Passionate about technology, project and people management.
• Familiar with project management and Agile/Scrum tools. (e.g. Jira, Trello, Nifty etc).
