Job summary

Cape EMS Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an IT Officer / IT Executive to manage the organisation's IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring technology supports business goals and drives digital transformation.

You will provide technical guidance, support across systems, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams on development, data handling, SQL queries, and maintenance to keep services reliable and secure.

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant IT experience is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of IT procedures and problem-solving.
• VB.net and ASP.net development skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor production systems and dashboards.
• Collaborate with analysts on development requirements and data handling.
• Provide first-level support for network, software, and hardware issues.
• Design, develop and maintain software applications.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and database components.
• Maintain existing applications and provide ongoing updates.
