Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas seeks a Senior Executive, Smart Technology to propel its digital transformation across software development and infrastructure. The role collaborates with Business Owners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technology solutions and ensure secure, reliable operations.

The candidate will work hands-on across software development, server management, deployment, and IT governance to deliver scalable, available systems that support business needs

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development, system administration, or infrastructure support.
• Proven experience in software development and application support.
• Experience with server infrastructure, monitoring, patching, backup and recovery.
• Experience delivering IT projects in Development, UAT and Production environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications to support business and digital transformation.
• Administer and manage servers, monitor availability and infrastructure health.
• Provide timely application support and perform root cause analysis for incidents.
• Plan and implement system enhancements and automation to reduce repeat requests.
• Participate in IT projects from solution selection through implementation and handover.
• Engage with business owners to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet needs.
• Ensure information security policies are followed and documentation kept up to date.
