J&T Express (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Information Technology Officer to provide hands-on technical support for gateway staff and warehouse IT systems.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and printers, and ensure stable uptime and performance across the IT stack. You will coordinate with China-based suppliers for equipment procurement, replacements, and installations, while aligning with the central IT team for escalated issues and deployments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 1–3 years IT support experience, preferably in logistics/warehouse.
• Able to communicate with China-based suppliers professionally.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to gateway staff (hardware, software, network, printers).
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks for uptime and performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software including operating systems, scanners, and warehouse terminals.
• Coordinate with China suppliers on procurement, replacement, and installations.
• Escalate issues to central IT for deployments and follow security best practices.
• Monitor CCTV and ensure continuous recording and data backup.
• Maintain IT inventory, track devices, replacements and repairs.
• Provide training and guidance to non-technical staff.
• Support integration and performance of warehouse management and tracking systems.
• Document IT procedures, issues, and resolutions.

Provide technical support to gateway staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and printer issues.

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure uptime and performance.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, scanners, and warehouse terminals.

Coordinate with China suppliers on equipment procurement, replacement, repair, installation, and technical matters when required.

Coordinate with the central IT team for escalated issues or deployments.

Ensure security best practices are followed in gateway IT operations, including antivirus updates and system backups.

Monitor CCTV systems and ensure continuous recording and data backup for security purposes.

Maintain IT inventory, including tracking of devices, replacements, and repairs.

Provide training and technical guidance to non-technical staff when required.

Support the integration and performance of warehouse management and tracking systems .

Document IT procedures, issues, and resolutions for reporting and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 1–3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with China-based suppliers and vendors in a professional setting.

Strong knowledge of computer systems, Windows OS, networking basics, and peripherals.

Experience with CCTV systems, barcode scanners, and warehouse IT tools is an advantage.

Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management tools.

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and handle fast-paced environments.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to work in shifts or extended hours during peak operations if needed.
