Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced IT leader to manage and secure a complex IT environment across servers, networks and data centers. You will develop strategies, policies and budgets, and drive major IT projects with cross-functional teams.

You will coach and advance an IT team, oversee desktop support, and ensure regulatory compliance and service management practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8 years experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role and end-user desktop support environment.
• Experience with Desktop Management, Incident Management, and IT Service Management concepts.
• Proven leadership and ability to train and coach IT teams.

Job description

Manage and maintain servers, networks, software, hardware, and data centers.

Develop IT strategies, policies, procedures, and budgets; identify tech needs and implement solutions.

Implement security measures, manage data backup, disaster recovery, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, upgrades, and system integrations.

Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other departments to meet their tech needs.

To train, evaluate, and coach IT team members; manage performance and development.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Expertise in various IT platforms, software, hardware, and network management.

Often requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus relevant experience.

Experience/knowledge in managing/administrates computer network.

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, information Technology or computing related disciplines.

Required skill(s): Window, Server, Mobile network, Microsoft system.

8 years experience with at least 3 years in managerial role and an end-user desktop support environment.

Working knowledge of Desktop Management, Incident Management and other IT Service Management concepts and technologies (i.e. Desktop Imaging, Active Directory management, Network/System Admin Management) is an added advantage.

Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware & software.
