Job summary

Medicare Assistance Sdn Bhd in Klang, Malaysia, is seeking an IT Support specialist to monitor, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and related networking and security infrastructure. The role focuses on Level 1–2 technical support for hardware and Windows systems, plus device configuration and asset management.

You will join an established group within Medicare, supporting onboarding/offboarding, vendor coordination, and scheduled after-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in IT, CS, networking or related field.
Minimum two years of IT support, infra or network admin experience.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN, routers, switches and firewalls.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software and Windows systems.
Configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers and other IT devices.
Manage Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and user access rights.
Support onboarding, transfers and offboarding, including device setup.
Maintain IT asset, license, warranty and vendor records.
Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers until issues are resolved.
Perform system health checks, antivirus monitoring and basic cybersecurity controls.
Maintain technical documentation and incident logs.
