Job summary

JLL is seeking an IT Operations professional in Malaysia to design, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and security. You will manage cloud platforms, backups, and disaster recovery while supporting staff with timely issue resolution.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT, strong networking knowledge, and certifications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ongoing system optimization are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• BSc in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in IT support, sys/admin, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware and software.
• Experience with network management, servers, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and security systems.
• Proficiency with Windows/Linux/Mac OS and monitoring tools.
• Cybersecurity practices and cloud platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, server uptime, network speed, and security.
• Install and configure new systems, servers, and applications.
• Respond to technical issues and resolve hardware/software/network problems.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to fix system errors.
• Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Apply software updates, patches, and security fixes.
• Assist migration to cloud platforms and integrate new systems.
• Maintain records of configurations, incidents, and maintenance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose improvements.
