Job summary

Winchester Interconnect (M) is seeking an IT Support professional to manage end-user computing, servers, and network infrastructure within Malaysia. The role involves maintaining IT governance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning, with a focus on proactive problem solving and digital transformation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Networking and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of CRM/ERP systems being a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with end-user computing, server management, network management.
• Knowledgeable of best practices in general IT and end user support.
• Experience in CRM/ERP systems would be a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, high customer-service mindset, proactive communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Support (remote/onsite), maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organisation
• Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts
• Support, review and liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines
• Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan
• Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting
• Conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security
• Analyse and evaluate system and users' requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades
• Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations
• Assist to drive digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects or upgrades
