Job summary
Mestari Adjusters Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support professional to join our IT team in Kuala Lumpur. You will provide technical assistance for PC/laptop hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems across offices.
The role includes server management and network focus at senior levels, desktop support for junior levels, travel to branch offices, and occasional after-hours work.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, software, and networking; senior level has server, hypervisor, firewall focus.
- Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driving license and access to a car for occasional travel.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours for urgent IT support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for PC/laptop hardware and software issues (Junior).
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including hypervisor servers (Senior).
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and network-related problems (Senior/General).
- Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Support branch offices by traveling to their locations as needed.
- Handle ad-hoc IT tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Manager.
- Document and track support requests using our ticketing system.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve systems and processes.
