Job summary

Store N Go Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive IT Executive (Infrastructure and Support) to maintain IT systems, support staff, and ensure reliable operations across hardware, software, and networking. You will manage end-user support, network devices, servers, backups, and security, while collaborating with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to company staff for hardware, software, printers, email, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows computers and business applications.
• Set up computers, user accounts, email accounts, and access rights for new employees.
• Provide remote or on-site support when required.
• Maintain office network, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
• Monitor and maintain servers, NAS, backup systems, and company IT equipment.
• Ensure antivirus and security software are up to date.
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, licenses, network layouts, and support activities.
• Prepare user guides and basic IT documentation when necessary.
• Support company projects involving new IT systems or software implementation.
• Assist with meeting room equipment, CCTV, access control, and other office technology.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and responsible IT Executive (Infrastructure and Support) to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, supporting employees with day-to-day IT issues, and ensuring all computer systems, hardware, software, and network equipment operate smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, providing excellent user support, and maintaining a reliable IT environment.

Key responsibilities

End User Support

• Provide technical support to company staff for hardware, software, printers, email, and network-related issues.


• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral problems.


• Install, configure, and maintain Windows computers and business applications.


• Set up computers, user accounts, email accounts, and access rights for new employees.


• Provide remote or on-site support when required.

IT Infrastructure

• Maintain office network, Wi-FI, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.


• Monitor and maintain servers, NAS, backup systems, and company IT equipment.


• Ensure company systems are operating efficiently with minimal downtime.


• Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors when necessary.


• Assist in implementing cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.

Hardware & Asset Management

• Diagnose and repair computer hardware issues where possible.


• Coordinate warranty claims and repairs with suppliers.


• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including computers, monitors, printers, and accessories.


• Recommend hardware upgrades and replacements when required.

System & Security

• Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, and security patches.


• Ensure antivirus and security software are up to date.


• Assist with backup and disaster recovery procedures.


• Support data protection and IT security policies.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, licenses, network layouts, and support activities.


• Prepare user guides and basic IT documentation when necessary.

Other Duties

• Support company projects involving new IT systems or software implementation.


• Assist with meeting room equipment, CCTV, access control, and other office technology.


• Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Minimum 1-3 years of IT support experience (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply).

• Interest in AI tools and automation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) is an added advantage. Candidates should be willing to learn and support the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 administration.


• Experience supporting CCTV, access control systems, or IP phones.


• Basic knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or Supabase is an advantage.


• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is a plus.
