Job summary

OSIM (M) Sdn Bhd is hiring to assist and ensure day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure, network systems and office administration. You will monitor backups, enforce security, manage POS and NAV systems, and support MIS-related projects.

The role requires 2+ years' experience, a relevant Diploma/Degree, and willingness to travel to retail outlets. Strong communication across English, Malay and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in the related field.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and willing to travel to retail outlets.
• Proactive, problem solving, communication skills, positive attitude and team players.
• Knowledge of hardware and software management, PC troubleshooting, IT networking, email configuration, firewall, web development.
• Able to communicate effectively with our diverse clients in English, Malay and Mandarin dialects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network usage and backup operations, ensuring that all critical systems and data are backed up to storage.
• Enforce IT security policies and regular monitoring to identify and mitigate risks or intrusions.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of business systems including POS and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Analyze business requirements and design, develop, and maintain internal systems and small-scale applications.
• Provide technical advice and support for MIS projects and system improvements for management and end-users.
• Align MIS systems with business processes and operations.
• Conduct user training sessions and prepare system documentation and user manuals.
• Liaise with vendors and equipment suppliers for procurement, maintenance, and support services.
• Perform other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Job description

Assist and ensure the day to day operation of IT infrastructure, network system and office administration including implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Monitor network usage and backup operations, ensuring that all critical systems and data are consistently and successfully backed up to appropriate storage.

Enforce IT security policies and conduct regular monitoring to identify and mitigate potential security risks or intrusions.

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of business systems, including POS, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and other business systems managed by MIS.

Analyze business requirements and design, develop, and maintain internal systems, databases, and small-scale applications to support operations.

Provide technical advice and support for MIS-related projects, including system implementations and improvements for management and end-users.

Understand company operations and continuously align MIS systems and solutions with business process requirements.

Conduct user training sessions and prepare system documentation and user manuals to support effective system usage.

Liaise with vendors and equipment suppliers for procurement, maintenance, and support services.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

About you
