The Wet World Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking an IT specialist to support hospitality and retail operations.

You will ensure day-to-day IT operations run smoothly and provide on-call troubleshooting for POS systems, ticketing, CCTV, and network infrastructure. Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in IT with at least 2 years’ relevant experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and good interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT in hospitality, hotel, F&B or retail operations.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills.
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Good organization skills and able to perform ad-hoc tasks.
• Able to work on operational shift hours, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day IT operations to run smoothly and efficiently.
• On-call troubleshooting and on-site support for POS, ticketing, Retail POS, and CCTV.
• Manage and maintain system infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, SQL databases, and more.
• Design network infrastructure for new outlets and oversee cable, switch, and router installation.
• Handle IT projects as required and maintain up-to-date IT equipment inventory.
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports when required.

• Design network infrastructure for any new outlet and in charge in cable, switch and router installation.
• Handling IT related projects as and when required. Assist in maintaining up-to-date inventory list for IT equipment. Ensure safe-keeping of IT equipment, laptop, desktop.
• Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports as and when required
