We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to join our IT team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be serving as our ERP Administrator, with a strong focus on evaluating our current ERP system's performance and researching potential improvement or upgrade paths going forward. Alongside this, you will act as a key backup for our existing IT staff and provide agile support for general IT operations. As you grow into the role, there will be opportunities to expand into process automation and deeper ERP specialization.
Act as the primary administrator for the company's ERP platform, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and system uptime.
Create, modify, and terminate user accounts; manage roles, permissions, and security profiles.
Coordinate routine system updates, backups, and database maintenance.
Modify dashboards, trackers, or reports based on user requests, such as adding/adjusting columns, filters, or basic views using the ERP's built-in reporting tools.
Diagnose and resolve ERP-related issues and provide technical guidance or training to end-users across departments.
Engage with department stakeholders to document current system limitations, workflow pain points, and business requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external system vendors/consultants coordinating discovery sessions, documenting proposals, and tracking follow-ups.
Study and document potential upgrade or improvement paths for the ERP system, compiling findings, options, and trade-offs for management review.
Prepare clear, organized summaries of vendor discussions and research findings for management decision-making. Final recommendations are reviewed and approved by management before any commitment is made.
Serve as the primary coverage partner to ensure seamless business operations during team absences or scheduled rotations.
Provide secondary assistance for desktop troubleshooting, network connectivity, and hardware/software setups during high-volume periods.
Flexibly tackle unexpected technical issues, urgent business requests, or minor administrative tasks as they arise.
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of hands‑on experience in ERP system administration is required, ideally alongside general IT support experience.
Prior hands‑on experience in ERP system administration, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar ERP platform. Experience in user/access management, troubleshooting, or configuration support will be considered relevant.
Basic database or reporting skills, such as SQL, would be an advantage.
Basic knowledge and experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Comfortable coordinating with external vendors and cross‑functional teams, with strong written documentation skills.
Adaptable, organised, detail‑oriented, and able to effectively manage and transition between a variety of responsibilities.
Prior experience with Epicor ERP specifically.
Prior exposure to a system migration or implementation project.
Familiarity with basic scripting or automation tools, such as Power Automate, PowerShell, or Python.
A curious and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to take on new challenges as the role develops.
