Ropedia Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive IT Support specialist to provide day-to-day assistance, troubleshoot laptops, peripherals and network connectivity, and manage IT assets.
You will support data ingestion from project devices to NAS and cloud platforms, coordinate with Operations, and maintain IT documentation.
Candidates with at least 1 year in IT Support, knowledge of hardware and networking, and English communication will thrive; Mandarin is a plus.
Provide day-to-day IT support and basic troubleshooting for laptops, peripherals and network connectivity. Manage IT assets and inventory, including labelling, tracking, documentation and proper organization of equipment. Handle data ingestion and uploading from project devices to NAS/file servers and cloud platforms.

Manage operational IT peripherals such as USB docking stations, SD cards, storage devices and related accessories
Support HOMIE and other project device movement, tracking and status updates with the Operations team
Handle data ingestion and uploading from project devices to NAS/file servers and cloud platforms
Ensure proper data transfer, verification and retention according to instructions from the Technical Operations Lead
Assist vendors with installation, maintenance and technical work when required
Perform basic network troubleshooting and understand basic network/infrastructure diagrams
Maintain proper IT documentation and provide regular progress updates

Experience in IT asset and inventory management is required
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals and networking
Able to perform basic network troubleshooting and understand network diagrams
Good organizational skills and able to manage physical IT assets and documentation
Able to communicate effectively in English
Mandarin speaking ability will be an advantage
Experience with NAS, data ingestion, large data transfers or cloud upload platforms will be an advantage
Experience using Lark will be an advantage
Willing to learn new systems, devices and technical workflows
