Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking an IT Service Delivery & Operations Support professional in Kuala Lumpur to act as an escalation point for the IT service desk and to deliver onsite and remote support for staff across offices. You will onboard new hires, configure devices and user accounts, manage returns, and oversee software licensing and compliance.

IT Service Delivery & Operations Support
Serve as an escalation point for IT service desk, providing onsite and remote support for individual and departmental issues or requests.
Set up laptops, mobile devices, and user accounts for new hires, ensuring proper access and configuration upon onboarding, in collaboration with the HR team.
Manage returned devices by inspecting, wiping, and redeploying or retiring assets according to IT protocols.
Administer software licensing and compliance, including procurement, renewals, upgrades; elevate critical issues to senior management for further review and action as needed.
Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, covering asset inventories, access logs, and system configurations.
Provide basic training or onboarding sessions to staff on any new systems and software, when necessary.
Asset Planning & Procurement
Prepare monthly or quarterly forecasts for IT device needs, prepare purchase proposals for approvals and monitor actual spending, in collaboration with the Finance and HR teams.
Handle pricing negotiations and order placement with suppliers, ensuring adequate device supply and cost-efficiency.
Arrange and monitor international shipping for devices to overseas offices.
Source and evaluate new vendors as needed to ensure cost efficiency and supply reliability.
Research & Continuous Improvement
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Continuously assess existing IT processes and services, gather internal user feedback, and implement targeted improvements to enhance user experience.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of IT support or operations experience, preferably with multi-region exposure; experience in the forex or fintech sector is a strong advantage.
Proficient in end-user technical support with strong knowledge of hardware, common software, system setup, and license management.
Strong knowledge of IT asset planning and vendor procurement, including price negotiation, purchase order execution, and logistics coordination.
Proficient in both verbal and written Chinese and English.
High level of integrity and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive data and access rights.
Effective cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to coordinate across teams to support operational needs.
Willingness to travel occasionally to support cross-office IT needs.
