Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified candidate to support the Shop Floor Control System (SFCS) and MES in Port Klang. The role involves analyzing requirements, implementing changes, and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing software on the shop floor.

You will document system processes, train users, and collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues. Proactive mentoring of junior staff and ongoing system optimization are expected elements of the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/write SQL commands and manage Oracle procedures, triggers, and DB jobs.
• Bahasa Malaysia and English are required; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shop floor software system requirements analysis and implementation of changes to existing and/or new modules.
• Develops systems documentation, prepares technical and user documentation and conducts system training
• Interface with users, consultants and service providers to resolve application systems related issues
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior members in implementing MES functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems relating to shop floor and manufacturing system
• Define manufacturing process flows and suggest performance improvements
• Continuously adapt and evaluate system functionality to manufacturing plans and programs

Position Summary :-

Functional and technical contribution in the Shop Floor Control System (SFCS) Department. The person requires a high level of creativity and capable of performing system related function in the following key areas:

MES/SFCS/ERP Application Supports

Perform Root cause analysis and provide solution to solve issues

Basis DB Troubleshooting, support and management

New Project and improvement execution and management.

Job Responsibilities :-

Assist in shop floor software system requirements analysis and implementation of changes to existing and/or new modules as well as setup a new production line to support changing business needs

Develops systems documentation, prepares technical and user documentation and conducts system training

Interface with users, consultants and service providers in resolving application systems related issues. Interface with software application and hosting provider to resolve technical/system related issues

Provide guidance and mentoring the junior members in implementing MES functionality

Troubleshoot and resolve system problems relating to shop floor and manufacturing system

Defining manufacturing process flows and suggestions for performance improvement as related to system capabilities. Help streamline and simplify whenever possible

Continuous adapt and evaluate the system functionality as it relates to manufacturing plans and programs to accommodate and meet the business needs

Job Requirements :-

• Familiar with manufacturing/shop floor application system functionality and support function, preferable with SFCS and Warehouse system.
• At least 2to 3 years working experience in the manufacturing environment especially with hands on experience for manufacturing system.
• Required skill(s): Ability to read/write SQL command, knowing Oracle procedure, Trigger and DB jobs etc.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Mandarin speaker an added advantage
• Provide after office hours support to users should systems face any problems or abnormalities.

Must willing to work Overtime and able to do Shift Work. Allowance and OT will be paid accordingly.
