Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Engineer to maintain, support, and improve the organization's IT infrastructure, production systems, and industrial technologies in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes high system availability and cybersecurity, with integration between enterprise IT and shop-floor operations.

The incumbent will secure IT systems, collaborate on SAP implementations with HQ and China, manage servers and network devices, and support both on-premise and cloud applications

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or any related qualifications.
• Knowledge in maintaining Database (e.g. SQL Server).

Responsibilities

• Secure and compliant IT systems, computers, and network environments per policies.
• Collaborate on SAP implementation projects with HQ and China.
• Manage servers, printers, access control, SIP phones, network, and end-user devices.
• Provide continuous support for on-premise and cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365, attendance systems, and web-based intranet applications.
• Perform computer maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive support for hardware and software issues.
• Set up new user accounts and disable expired or terminated accounts in accordance with HR and IT requirements.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular backups and patch updates.
• Work with external vendors for system support, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
