Job summary

The IT Software Senior Engineer will design, develop, customize, and deploy MES applications, re-architecting legacy systems toward a modern web-based solution and integrating MES with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS.

You will handle incident management, enforce coding standards, implement CI/CD pipelines, provide thorough technical documentation, develop automation scripts, and train end-users across QA, Production, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of MES / manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in .NET, especially ASP and VB.NET
• Experience with Java, C#, or Python for integrations
• Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server database design and management
• Knowledge of web services and API protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Visualization tools like Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau is preferred

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Re-architecting and modernizing of legacy system to move to web based solution

Design, develop and integrate solution between MES and other enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Panacim, equipment interfaces)

Timely incident management and maintenance of production-related and ERP systems which includes troubleshooting, root cause analysis and resolution of system issues

Enforce high software engineering standards with strict version control and participating in code reviews, implementing CI/CD pipelines, writing thorough technical documentation, and ensuring robust error handling and secure application authentication

Develop automation scripts and tools to drive system and process efficiency

SQL Server database maintenance and performance optimization

Development and implementation of APIs for equipment data collection (SMT lines, AOI, SPI, ICT/FCT testers) and reporting solutions to drive data driven decision insights

Provide system training to end-users (QA, Production, Engineering teams)

About you

At least Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2 years of software development experience in manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of MES / manufacturing processes

.NET platform, particularly in ASP and VB.net (mandatory)

Experience with modern programming languages used for integrations (e.g., Java, C#, or Python)

Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server database design and management

Solid understanding of web services and API protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)

Visualization Tools like Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau is preferable
