Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an IT Delivery & Operations Lead to drive end-to-end IT delivery and BAU operations across regional teams. The role emphasizes governance, risk and regulatory compliance, and strong vendor management in a complex, multi-country environment.

The successful candidate will oversee service availability, incident management, disaster recovery readiness, and strategic transformation initiatives, positioning IT as a business enablement function.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of IT experience, preferably within banking/ financial services or insurance environments.
• Proven experience owning and managing BAU operations, including service availability, incident management, and operational governance.
• Strong understanding of IT service management and operational best practices.
• Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, risk controls, and governance processes.
• Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management across complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to core banking platforms or other business-critical systems.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage regional business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience managing technology delivery initiatives alongside operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain operational excellence.
• Drive service governance, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee infrastructure health, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity planning.
• Manage vendor relationships, contractual obligations, and SLA adherence.
• Deliver regulatory, upgrade, and transformation projects while managing scope, timelines, costs, and risks.
• Facilitate seamless transition of projects into BAU operations.
• Monitor technology budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors across multiple countries.
