Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Delivery & Operations Lead to own day-to-day IT operations, lead incident, problem, and change management, and drive regional technology initiatives across international entities.

You will oversee governance, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, vendor management, and delivery of transformation projects, while ensuring BAU readiness and cost optimization; this is an operations-first leadership role.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years IT experience, preferably within banking/financial services or insurance environments.
• Proven ownership of BAU operations, including service availability and incident management.
• Strong IT service management knowledge and operational best practices.
• Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, risk controls, and governance processes.
• Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management across complex enterprise environments.
• Exposure to core banking platforms or other business-critical systems.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage regional stakeholders.
• Experience delivering technology initiatives alongside operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain operational excellence
• Drive service governance, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee infrastructure health, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity planning
• Manage vendor relationships, contractual obligations, and SLA adherence
• Deliver regulatory, upgrade, and transformation projects while managing scope, timelines, costs, and risks
• Facilitate seamless transition of projects into BAU operations
• Monitor technology budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization
• Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors across multiple countries
