Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Server & Infrastructure Admin to manage Windows Server, VMware, and storage environments. The role involves cloud/on-prem administration, disaster recovery planning, and 2nd-line IT support in a dynamic setting.

You will maintain AD, email accounts, and M365 services while contributing to patch management, backups, and system health monitoring. The position is full-time with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform deployments, support and maintenance for Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infra, Backup and Storage.
• Administer and operate server systems and related infrastructure (cloud and on-premise) to ensure high availability.
• Administer folder access, email and account creation.
• Assist in planning, implementation and documentation in disaster recovery activities.
• Assist Server Engineer for server and storage systems infrastructure and its support methodology.
• Maintain and manage system infrastructure services: AD, file/print, VMware, patch management, backup-recovery, firmware patches/updates, endpoint management.
• Monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot endpoint/server/storage issues.
• Assist in implementing, maintaining and supporting Microsoft M365 suite of products.
• Perform server health checks, monitor capacity and performance, and generate reports.
• Perform server patching and updates.
• Provide 2nd level support to IT Team.
• Participate in other IT projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
• Produce reports for file server management and audit purposes.
• Standardize and compile work instructions to maintain IT knowledge base.
• Handle special tasks as assigned by HOD

1. Perform deployments, support and maintenance for Microsoft Windows Server, Virtual Machine(VMware), Hyper Converge Infra, Backup and Storage

3 Administration for folder access, email and account creation

5 Assist Server Engineer for server and storage systems infrastructure and its support methodology

6 Maintain and manage System related Infrastructure services that include (but not limited to): Microsoft Active Directory domain services, file and print services, VMware virtualization, security patch management, backup-recovery, firmware patches and upgrades, endpoint management

7 Monitor, diagnose, troubleshooting issues related to endpoint, server operation and storage.

8 Assist to implement, maintenance and support Microsoft M365 suite of products

9 Perform server health checkup, monitor system capacities, performance analysis and reporting

10 Perform server and system patch and update

11 Provide 2nd level support to IT Tech Team

12 Assist and participate in other IT projects/activities as assigned and perform any ad-hoc task assigned by superior

13 Produce report for file server management and audit purpose

14 Standardize and compiling Work Instruction to maintain IT Technical Knowledge Base.
