Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Executive, IT - Application & Compliance to provide first-line IT application support, manage bugs and patches, and collaborate with vendors on database maintenance and performance. The role includes in-house reporting, ad-hoc Excel reports, and translating business requirements into technology.

You will coordinate UAT, support change management, and oversee governance documentation while engaging with solution providers and users to ensure compliant IT operations.

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level IT application support to users within the organizations.
• Application bug fixing and patch management
• Work hand in hand with vendors for Database maintenance and performance monitoring
• In-house reports enhancements and modifications (e.g. SQL Server Reporting, Crystal Report)
• Extract from database and develop ad-hoc reports in Excel
• Work hand in hand with solution provider to achieve organization's requirement, translate business requirement into technology.
• Coordinate User acceptance test activity for system change and new system deployment
• Maintain tools for managing applications, data, and applications systems performance
• Coordinate and conduct user training for applications
• Develop and maintain application user manual
• Develop System training material
• IT Project manager role for system implementations / customization
• Monitor SLA of application support between organization and Solution Provider
• Liaise with software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfil user requirements.
• Responsible for all It helpdesk incidents tickets and request fulfillments elated to applications.
• Govern and coordinate IT security process for third party network access
• Govern and coordinate IT security process for Database access compliance
• Govern process of creation and deletion of applications system users
• Access matrix development and maintenance
• Application Change Management process ownership and maintenance
• Change advisory reporting and coordination
• Application change approval
• Change control, User acceptance test (UAT) and change implementation
• Point of contact and is responsible for coordinating all application change
• Change documentation and review
• Responsible for all governance documentation and review task for IT Department
