Job summary

Teck Guan Group is seeking dynamic Malaysian candidates for an IT support role based in Tawau, Sabah. The position emphasizes daily application support, troubleshooting, and coordination with IT/development teams to maintain system reliability and data integrity.

The ideal applicant holds a Diploma or Degree in IT/CS/IS with 1–5 years of related experience, plus familiarity with ERP/finance systems and strong communication abilities to assist both technical and non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in application support, system support or related IT role.
• Experience with Accounting/Finance systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, financial processes or accounting applications is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel or system reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve system issues.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Good understanding of user access, data validation and system testing.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple support requests.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate with IT and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to users on application-related issues.
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve system or data errors promptly.
• Coordinate with IT/development teams on system fixes and enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance checks.
• Assist with user account setup, access control and data validation.
• Support UAT testing, system documentation and user training.
• Prepare basic reports and queries when required.
