Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site Architectural Site Inspector to verify alignment with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. You will coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality and timely updates.

The role involves routine inspections, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions through handover and defect liability periods, while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect architectural works on site to ensure they comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used by contractors.
• Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct routine site inspections and identify any defects or non-conformance issues.
• Issue site inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Witness material testing and inspections where required.
• Coordinate with the Architect, consultants, contractors, and project team to resolve site issues.
• Verify that completed architectural works meet the required quality standards before handover.
• Maintain proper site records, inspection reports, and photographic documentation.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on the progress and quality of architectural works.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are observed during construction activities.
• Assist in the inspection of completed works during practical completion and defect liability period.
