Job summary

Global View Engineering is seeking a Qualified Inspector of Works (IOW) to monitor and inspect construction sites in Malaysia. You will ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards, perform regular inspections, document findings, and coordinate with consultants and project teams to maintain progress and rectify issues.

The role requires an IOW registration with LAM, plus a diploma or degree in architecture, building, construction or related fields and relevant site

Qualifications

• Must be Registered Inspector of Works (IOW) with LAM.
• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, Construction or related field.
• Relevant site supervision and inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect construction works at site.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects and non-compliance.
• Monitor work progress and workmanship.
• Prepare daily site inspection reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and project team.
• Follow up on rectification works.
• Perform other duties related to site inspection as assigned.
