Job summary

Zalam Corporation in Kapar, Malaysia is seeking a capable site supervisor to oversee daily architectural and finishing works at our construction sites. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specs and project requirements, coordinating with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site workers.

The role requires reading architectural drawings, using AutoCAD, and independent supervision of subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in architecture, building, construction or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction/site supervision preferred.
• Able to read architectural drawings and specifications.
• Able to use AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily architectural and finishing works at the construction site according to drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site workers.
• Check workmanship quality and rectify defects.
• Monitor subcontractors' progress and manpower.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural and M&E works.
• Check and coordinate shop drawings, material samples and site requirements.
• Monitor material usage and ensure approved materials are used.
• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving site issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site records.
• Monitor work progress according to the construction schedule.
• Assist with inspection, snagging, defect rectification and project handover.
