Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Inspector of Work to oversee architectural site activities in Malaysia. You will conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress and quality, and ensure compliance with building codes and design requirements.

The role requires a degree in Architecture, an IOW certificate from LAM, and at least five years of relevant experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating with contractors, architects, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Possess valid Inspector of Work (IOW) certificate from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Work or similar role in the construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
