Jora Malaysia is seeking an Inspector of Work to oversee architectural site activities in Malaysia. You will conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress and quality, and ensure compliance with building codes and design requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of architectural work
Liaise with contractors, architects, and project managers to address any issues or non-conformities
Ensure all architectural works comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and design requirements
Document and report on the status of architectural works, including any defects or deviations
Assist in the coordination and integration of architectural works with other trades
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Degree in Architecture or a related field
Possess valid Inspector of Work (IOW) certificate from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM)
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Work or similar role in the construction industry
Thorough understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
