Job summary

OUS Group is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Assistant Manager in Malaysia to lead daily warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels and cost tracking. The role requires hands-on management, analytical reporting, and cross-functional coordination with Procurement and Finance teams to support mining operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehouse/inventory roles, familiarity with WMS/ERP systems, and a degree in supply chain or related fields.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain roles.
Mining/heavy industry or industrial environments experience is an advantage.
Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support and manage daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials and spare parts.
Ensure optimal stock availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels and stock value.
Track, monitor, and analyse inventory, logistics, and warehouse-related costs; identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare accurate stock costing, valuation, inventory ageing, and variance reports.
Oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and stocktakes; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff to achieve targets for accuracy, productivity, safety, and timelines.
Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Site teams to ensure smooth material flow for mining operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
