Job summary

CSS GROUP OF COMPANIES seeks an Assistant Warehouse & Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving in Penang, Malaysia. You will develop policies to improve efficiency and ensure accurate monthly inventory data.

The role involves coordinating with purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels, managing logistics, and mentoring staff to meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Responsible for the overall operation of Warehouse management.
• Conducts improvement analysis for the existing operational systems, processes, and policies in the warehouse.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping or receiving.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensures timely submission of monthly inventory data and performs monthly stock-take reconciliation.
• Provides inventory revenue and cost performance analysis report of the product to the management team for review of product performance.
• Manage logistic matters to ensure the stocks are delivered accurately and timely without delay and damage or loss.
• Monitors good return and reject good cases. Performs investigation and find a solution to reduce the return cases.
• Establishes strong customer relationships in order to facilitate achievements of objectives and targets for the company.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Ensure the smooth running of warehouse, customer service & operation staff by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance.
• Supervise and mentor warehouse staff ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Manage logistics operations and shipping procedures and documentations.
• Accountable for stocks loss and stock variance.
