Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated Intern Warehouse & Inventory to support the operations team. The role involves overseeing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient material handling, and supporting production operations.

The internship requires studying a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory materials management. The candidate should be self-motivated with strong communication skills and be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Assist in regular stock counts (cycle counts, daily/weekly physical stock takes) and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory per safety and compliance standards.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports and dashboards.
• Monitor expiry dates, damaged stock, and slow-moving inventory to minimize wastage and improve turnover.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks as required by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.

Assist in conducting regular stock counts (cycle counts, daily/weekly physical stock takes) and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all inventory in accordance with safety and compliance standards.

Assist in preparing inventory reports and dashboards.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must be currently studying a Diploma/Advanced/ in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Material Management or similar.
