Job summary

Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd is seeking an Inventory Control Executive in Malaysia. The role focuses on managing inventory records, ensuring stock availability for outlets, production, and warehouse, and maintaining cost controls across the supply chain.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, with familiarity in ERP systems and Excel.

• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and stock reconciliation is preferred.

• Monitor inventory costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.

Job description

The Inventory Control Executive is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient stock movement, optimal inventory levels, and cost control. This role involves overseeing stock receiving, storage, distribution, stock reconciliation, and inventory reporting to support smooth daily operations across outlets, production, and warehouse facilities.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and other operational supplies.

Ensure sufficient stock availability to support daily production and outlet operations.

Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and unnecessary wastage.

Ensure proper implementation of First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) inventory practices.

Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and monthly physical inventory checks.

Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system inventory records.

Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Operations teams to ensure smooth inventory movement.

Monitor inventory costs and identify opportunities to improve stock efficiency.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.

Ensure inventory activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and internal control requirements.

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.

Experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), retail, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of inventory control procedures and stock reconciliation.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory records.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, stock rotation, and inventory cost control.
