Job summary

The Supply Chain Assistant is a key administrative and operational support role within the Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd Supply Chain Department. You will assist in purchasing coordination, inventory monitoring, order processing, delivery arrangements, and documentation to keep daily production, warehouse, and outlet operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory procedures.
Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Assist in preparing and processing Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved purchase requisitions.
Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, order confirmation, and delivery schedules.
Follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
Maintain and update supplier information, quotations, and purchasing records.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure sufficient stock availability.
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
Assist in processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
Verify purchasing documents against actual goods received and supplier invoices.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and product-related matters.

About you
