Job summary

Berjaya Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and service equipment across company outlets and production areas. The role ensures equipment operates safely and with minimal downtime, with travel between outlets as required.

You will inspect and service electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment, maintaining records and following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Maintenance or related technical field.
• At least 1–2 years of working experience in maintenance, preferably in F&B, retail or manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and general building maintenance.
• Experience in repairing kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, or food production machinery is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities at outlets and production areas.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
• Repair and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, ovens, chillers, freezers, refrigerators, and other F&B equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to the company's maintenance plan.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and safety hazards.
• Perform general repair and maintenance work, including lighting, electrical fittings, plumbing, doors, fixtures, and other facilities.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and identify appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety procedures and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and repair checklists.
• Travel to different outlets or locations when required to perform maintenance and repair work.

About you

Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Building Maintenance, or a related technical field.

At least 1–2 years of working experience in maintenance, preferably in the F&B, retail, or manufacturing industry.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and general building maintenance.

Experience in repairing kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, or food production machinery will be an added advantage.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Willing to travel between outlets and work flexible hours when required.

Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.

Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance work.
