Job summary

Masimo in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to manage and optimise inventory operations within our manufacturing and distribution network.

You will maintain accurate records, run counts, analyse stock trends, and collaborate with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in inventory control or stock management within manufacturing/logistics.
• Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Analyse inventory levels and trends to optimise stock management and minimise carrying costs.
• Process purchase orders, receipts, and material movements with precision.
• Identify and investigate inventory variances and resolve issues with relevant departments.
• Support development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and provide insights to management on stock performance.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
• Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory verification.
• Maintain warehouse organisation and ensure compliance with storage standards and safety.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our team at our Pasir Gudang facility in Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing and optimising our inventory operations. As an Inventory Control Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing and distribution processes. This role is essential to our operations, directly supporting our manufacturing objectives and contributing to our commitment to delivering quality products on time to our customers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience of 2-3 years in inventory control, stock management, or a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and implement improvements
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Solid understanding of inventory valuation methods and supply chain principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and warehouse operations is preferred
• Knowledge of quality control and compliance standards is advantageous
