Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia is seeking an experienced Inventory/Procurement leader to drive global raw material planning and optimization. You will partner with Product Line, Program Office, and Operations Finance to deliver precise projections and robust internal controls.

Responsibilities include advanced data analysis with Power BI/Excel, and streamlining safety stock while minimizing risk from obsolescence and excess material. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Typically 6–8 years of experience in strategic procurement/inventory/supply chain management.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong business sense with understanding of supply chain and planning fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly global inventory projections for raw material.
• Collaborate with Product Line and Program Office to meet inventory goals and strengthen internal controls.
• Use Spotfire, Incorta, and Power BI to analyze complex inventory data.
• Deliver inventory reports to Product Line, Program Office and Operations Finance.
• Review inventory profiling and aging to optimize stock and reduce risk.
• Review and optimize safety stock settings for raw materials.
• Manage Excess & Obsolete and Contract Material excess claims quarterly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of comprehensive monthly inventory projections on a global scale for raw material
• Work collaboratively with Product Line and Program Office as crucial stakeholders, aligning efforts to achieve inventory goals and enhancing internal controls for inventory optimization.
• Leverage advanced data visualization and analytical tools such as Spotfire, Incorta, and Power BI to meticulously process and analyze complex inventory data.
• Provide detailed analysis and comprehensive inventory-related reports to key business partners, including Product Line, Program Office and Operations Finance, ensuring transparent communication of critical insights.
• Conduct in-depth reviews and take proactive measures based on inventory profiling and aging criteria, ensuring the maintenance of an optimized inventory with minimized risk.
• Conduct a meticulous review and optimization of safety stock settings for raw materials, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining an effective balance between inventory levels and supply risk mitigation strategies.
• Effectively manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and Contract Material (CM) excess claims on a quarterly basis, implementing strategic disposition methods to minimize losses and maximize recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-8 years of experience in strategic procurement/inventory/supply chain management.
• Experience and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools such as Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong business sense with a clear understanding of supply chain and planning fundamentals.
• Excellent analytic skills and strong ability to retain and relay large amounts of information.
• Proven ability to interact with cross-functional teams and deliver results.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership ability and positive, proactive approach to working in a dynamic, progressive environment.
