Job summary

SAYAN ZING MOTORSPORT & ACCESSORIES SDN BHD is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage stock records, receive shipments, and coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely parts delivery. You will maintain organized storage, support reporting, and ensure accuracy across manual or digital systems.

The role requires SPM or equivalent, knowledge of scooter parts, strong Excel and inventory software skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team while staying fit for lifting tasks.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent; additional technical or logistics training is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of scooter parts (XMAX/NVX/NMAX) is an advantage.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, inventory software [SQL]).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit – able to lift and move stock items.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of parts, tools, accessories, and consumables.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify quantity and quality of items received.
• Update inventory systems (manual or digital) promptly and accurately.
• Tag, label, and store items in designated storage areas following workshop organization standards.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to the Workshop Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and notify relevant personnel of low or overstock situations.
• Assist in preparing inventory-related reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely delivery of required parts and tools.
• Ensure all inventory areas are clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Support returns and warranty claims processes where applicable.
