Job summary

DK MOTOR SDN BHD is seeking a parts operations administrator to ensure efficient stock purchases, inventory control, and timely supply of parts for workshop operations. You will use the Proton SAP system for stock monitoring and ordering, ensuring accuracy in receiving and binning parts and maintaining profitable parts margins.

Responsibilities

• Use Proton SAP system for parts inventory control, stock level monitoring and parts ordering.
• Keep stocks at acceptable levels so workshop operations are not disrupted.
• Receive parts in good condition and correctly bin on the day received.
• Ensure proper supply and invoicing of parts; submit daily cash collection when applicable.
• Monitor stock discrepancies and raise reports to HMSB as needed.
• Promote parts at the counter and assist workshop with parts needs and back orders.
• Prepare parts cost estimates and quotations for workshop and insurance claims; ensure profitability of vehicle claims.
• Conduct monthly stock checks and address any shortages.
• Maintain good housekeeping and upkeep of the workplace per HMSB standards.

Job description

Responsible to ensure efficient administration of the parts operation relating to stock purchases, inventory control and supply of parts and ensuring that parts profit margin is attained.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize Proton SAP system for parts inventory control, monitoring of stock level and movement and for parts ordering, whenever necessary.
• Ensure that stocks are retained at acceptable level and readily available to avoid disruption to the workshop operation.
• Ensure that all parts received are in good condition and accounted for and correctly bin on the day parts are received.
• Ensure correct supply and invoicing of parts and where applicable, submit daily cash collection.
• Monitor, identify and raise stock discrepancy report to HMSB whenever applicable.
• Promote parts through the parts counter and support the workshop operation on parts requirement and follow-up on spare parts' back order.
• Prepare parts' estimation cost and quotation for workshop and insurance claims and ensure vehicle claims are profitable and parts profit margin is attained.
• Conduct monthly stock checks and is responsible for any parts shortages.
• Maintain good housekeeping and up-keep of the work place as according to the standard set by HMSB.
