Job summary

Peringgit Sri Motor Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent inventory assistant to help manage spare parts stock for the Honda dealership network in Klang Valley. You will handle receipt, storage, and issuance of parts, maintain records, and assist customers and workshop staff with part locating and purchasing.

The role requires basic qualifications, proficiency in Excel, and good teamwork. We offer an attractive incentive scheme and provide training, with free parking on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) and inventory management systems.
• Prior experience in the automotive or spare parts industry is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Physically fit to carry out inventory-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and organization of spare parts inventory.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the designated inventory management system.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper organization of the spare parts storage area.
• Assist customers and workshop staff in locating and purchasing the required spare parts.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase orders for inventory replenishment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.
