Job summary

SLS Bearings (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a young and energetic Inventory Admin Assistant to maintain accurate stock records, execute stock takes and prepare stock take reports. The role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting our manufacturing team.

You will update the Item Master File, perform physical stock counts, assist with stock movements, and contribute to stock analysis.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update the Item Master File for stocktaking activities.
• Execute physical stock takes and perform data downloads at outlets.
• Conduct regular and random stock checks for accuracy.
• Perform internal inventory audits to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing stock take reports and stock movement updates.
• Support receiving and transfers; undertake other duties as directed.

Job description

What will you be expected to do?

Update the Item Master File for stocktaking activities.

Execute physical stock takes and perform data downloads at various outlets and shops.

Conduct random and regular checks on stock quantities to ensure accuracy in stock counts.

Perform internal inventory audits to maintain compliance and accuracy.

Assist in preparing stock take reports, tabulations, and analyses.

Help update stock movements, including receiving and transfers.

Undertake any other assignments as directed by management as needed.

what are we looking for?

You should have at least an O' Level or SPM qualification or above

You should have 1-2 years of experience or fresh graduate are welcome to apply

Basic knowledge of EXCEL and WORD is required.

Ability to make basic pricing judgments.

A good understanding of sales processes.

Strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
