Job summary

United Straits M & E is seeking an Intern Trainee (Project & Service for HVAC) in Malaysia. You will learn to install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment under supervision.

Candidates must have a Diploma, be able to work independently, and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. You will keep daily maintenance logs, assist with fault diagnosis, and support warranty and emergency repair tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and be a good team player.
• Technical knowledge in HVAC, ACMV or related systems is advantageous.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Learning to install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Perform other related duties and activities as required from time to time.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma

Able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-motivated and a good team player.

Technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems would be advantageous.

Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
