Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our field team in Malaysia. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of a range of air conditioning units, with emphasis on safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has at least three years’ experience, strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components, and the ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning units.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with HVAC systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on cooling and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely repairs.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
