Job summary

GPL Group of Companies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking air-conditioning technicians to support the property management manager with scheduled maintenance, inspections, and servicing of HVAC systems. You will install, repair, and troubleshoot AC units, and help with documentation and site coordination across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has solid ACMV knowledge, hands-on experience, and is able to work after hours or on weekends when required.

Qualifications

• SPM/certificate in mechanical, HVAC, or electrical engineering.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to learn, team player, and able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular service on monthly schedule; troubleshoot and repair existing AC systems to maximize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

We are looking for air-conditioning technicians to assist the property management manager in carrying out scheduled maintenance/inspection, perform installation, repairs, and troubleshooting, and do general and chemical servicing of air conditioner systems. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of ACMV principles and hands‑on experience.

Responsibilities

AC Systems Installation & Maintenance & Troubleshooting

1.1 Perform regular service as per the monthly work schedule, troubleshooting and repairs on existing AC systems to maximize efficiency.

1.2 Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.

1.3 Install, maintain, and repair all the AC systems as per instruction.

1.4 Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

2. Documentation and Reporting

2.1 Keep accurate records of all maintenance service activities and repairs.

2.2 Fulfill daily checklists as per work instruction and requirements.

2.3 Comply with service standards and requirements/requests.

3. Ad hoc duties as assigned by superior/HOD

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must possess at least an SPM/certificate in mechanical, HVAC, or electrical engineering.

Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong technical skill and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work after hours, on weekends, or on holidays with short or no notice.

Willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.

At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Possessing a valid driving license with GDL is an added advantage.

Willing to travel different sites throughout the day.
